The floors were sticky , and a overpowering stench of uncleaned spills and neglected washrooms polluted the entire pub. Reeking of a mixture of excrement , putrefaction and a sickly smell. As I dug deeper , I was alarmed to find accusations against him involving predatory behavior , with multiple women accusing him of sending unsolicited explicit content . His presence at the bar often felt more like that of a lurking threat than a genial proprietor .
